Brief Answers to the Big Questions - Book

Brief Answers to the Big Questions (2018)

by Stephen Hawking

A great book covering all the aspects that had come across Stephen. Just like mentioned in the book about knowledge of electromagnetic waves in the early stage giving fruits afterward through its study and had achieved its applicability and thus, it similarly seems to happen in the near future of gravitational waves for the growth of humankind.

After reading the whole book, I think reading is, of course, a tribute to him from my side. One statement of him that the afterlife is not real or impossible which contradicts my belief. I also can't understand this one thing that even if he had, which I hope, watched documented cases of reincarnation, why he couldn't believe it.

It still keeps me thinking that Stephen has just initiated the development of Theory of Everything, considering only physics, while there might be another branch or might be sub-level of the physics branch to get to know about these hidden things, which might be something else than a physical entity.

Quote that should not be followed.

Ratan Tata's quote: " If you think your teacher is strict, scary, hard, and dangerous, wait until you meet your boss. Your old teachers will pale in comparison. " This quote, as per my point of view, is arousing negative effects on the students, and on the person, who is about to start or is pursuing his/her job. The sense of negative effect aroused in the quote-reader is formed of the suspected behaviour of the boss or the teacher to be arrogant, humiliating, and disrespectful. It should be completely discarded as a quote to take into consideration in our lives, as these negative aspects, such as fear and danger are enemy of everything we stand for. This quote, therefore, should be completely discarded from our minds. While we have been given an opportunity of having lives, we should use it to make this world a beautiful place, and we should be cheerful for what we have achieved or accomplished with taking care of everything and everyone around us.
